Indonesia

With area  of 1,904,569 km sq, Indonesia is largest of all. It is home to more than 17,000 islands.

Papua New Guinea

Made up of several little islands, Papua New Guinea is the world’s second largest island, covering 785,753 km sq.

Japan

The  island country in the Pacific is one of the most urban and populated  nations in the world. The country is home to about 6852 smaller islands  spanning 377,915 km sq.

Malaysia

Malaysia consists of more than 20,000 islands occupying about 329,847 km  sq. Borneo Island here is the world’s third largest island.

Philippines

It’s made up of over 7600 islands and these are divided into three  regions namely Mindanao, Visayas, and Luzon. Together these are spread  across 300,000 km sq.

New Zealand

New Zealand consists of more than 700 islands which are spread across 268,838 km sq. The island is noted for Canterbury, Tasman, Southland and West Coast.
