CSIR Recruitment 2023 Notification: The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (SCIR) is recruiting for various posts of Section Officer (SO) and Assistant Section Officer (ASO) posts at various locations across India. CSIR has released the detailed recruitment notification for the same on the official website on the link: https://www.csir.res.in/career-opportunities/recruitment. Essential Qualification: University Degree

As per notification Essential Qualification for Section Officer (Group B – Gazetted Post) & Assistant Section Officer (Group B – Non Gazetted Post) is University Degree.

CSIR Recruitment 2023 Age Limit

Age Limit: Not exceeding 33 years

As per notification Age Limit for Section Officer (Group B – Gazetted Post) & Assistant Section Officer (Group B – Non Gazetted Post) is 33 years.

Total Monthly Emoluments For CSIR Jobs 2023

As per notification, monthly salary for CSIR Recruitment 2023 is as follows,

Section Officer (Group B – Gazetted Post) : Pay Level – 8, Cell – 1 (Rs. 47,600 –Rs. 1,51,100)

Assistant Section Officer (Group B – Non Gazetted Post): Pay Level – 7, Cell – 1 (Rs. 44,900 –1,42,400)

CSIR Recruitment Selection Procedure

The selection process consists of Paper I, Paper II, Paper III, Interview & CPT.

Paper I: General Awareness and English Language and Comprehension (150 Marks)

Paper II: General Intelligence, Reasoning and Mental Ability (200 Marks)

Paper III: English/Hindi – Descriptive Paper (150 Marks)

Interview: Interview carrying 100 marks for the post of Section Officer (Gen/F&A/S&P) only.

CPT: Computer Proficiency Test carrying 100 marks for the posts of Assistant Section Officer (Gen/F&A/S&P) only. CPT is Qualifying in nature.

Paper– I, Paper- II and Paper- III will be common and compulsory for all the posts.

How To Apply For CSIR Recruitment 2023?

Applicants working in Government Departments shall be required to intimate to their Department / Office and have to submit “No Objection Certificate” / “Intimation to the office” from their employer at time of document verification or when asked to submit, failing which their candidature will NOT be considered. CSIR will not accept any person on lien or deputation basis.

Important Points To Be Noted Before Registration

Before applying online, candidates should-

(i) Scan their: –

a. Latest Photograph (Size : less than 50 kb) (Application with blurred/fake/fabricated photograph shall be summarily rejected)

b. Signature (with black ink on plain White Paper), (Size: less than 50 kb) (Signature in CAPITAL LETTERS will NOT be accepted.)
