Mega Block on Konkan Railway

Mega Block on Konkan Railway: Konkan Railway has decided to take Mega Block on Tuesday, 21st November 2023 & Thursday, 23rd November 2023 for maintenance of assets. This mega block will be on two different sections of Konkan Railway ‘Karanjadi – Kamathe‘ & ‘Kumta – Bhatkal‘ and timings of this block is also differs. Information about this mega block has recently been released by KRCL in a press release. Let’s look into details of ‘Mega Block on Konkan Railway’..

Konkan Railway Mega Block

Karanjadi – Kamathe section

As per Press Release, The first mega block will be between Karanjadi – Kamathe section on Tuesday, 21st November 2023 from 12:40 hrs to 15:10 hrs, total 02:30 hrs. Due to Konkan Railway Mega Block between Karanjadi – Kamathe Section, train services will be affected. Details are as given below:

1. Train no. 02197 Coimbatore – Jabalpur Special journey commences on 20/11/2023 will be regulated for 110 minutes between Madgaon – Sangameshwar Road section.

2. Train no. 10106 Sawantwadi Road – Diva Express journey commences on 21/11/2023 will be regulated for 70 minutes between Sawantwadi Road- Sangameshwar Road section.

Kumta – Bhatkal section on 23/11/2023 (Thursday) from 12:00 hrs to 15:00 hrs (Total – 03.00 hrs)

As per Press Release, The second mega block will be between Kumtha – Bhatkal section on Thursday, 23rd November 2023 from 12:00 hrs to 15:00 hrs, total 03:00 hrs. Due to Konkan Railway Mega Block between Kumta – Bhatkal Section, train services will be affected. Details are as given below:

1. Train no. 16585 Sir M. Visvesvaraya Terminal  Bengaluru – Murdeshwar Express  journey commences on 22/11/2023 will be short terminated at Bhatkal station and partially cancelled between Bhatkal – Murdeshwar section.

2. Train no. 16586 Murdeshwar – Sir M. Visvesvaraya Terminal  Bengaluru Express  journey commences on 23/11/2023 will be short originated from Bhatkal station on its scheduled time and partially cancelled between Murdeshwar – Bhatkal section.

3. Train no. 22114 Kochuveli – Lokmanya Tilak (T) Express journey commences on 23/11/2023 will be regulated for 20 minutes at Bhatkal station.
