- The second polling official will ink your finger, provide you with a slip, and take your signature on a register (Form 17A).

- Record your vote on the Electronic Voting Machine (EVM) by pressing the ballot button opposite the symbol of your chosen candidate.
- Check the slip that appears in the VVPAT machine’s transparent window, displaying the candidate’s serial number, name, and symbol for 7 seconds.
- Press NOTA, the last button on the EVM, if you don’t favor any candidate.
- Mobile phones, cameras, or any other gadgets are strictly prohibited inside a polling booth.
