Old Schedule:
- Days of Run: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, Sunday
- Exception: Friday
Vande Bharat Schedule Update: Revised Schedule (Effective from March 21, 2024):
- Days of Run: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday
- Exception: Tuesday
From New Delhi: Commencing March 21, 2024, the Vande Bharat Express will operate on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, excluding Tuesdays.
From Amb Andaura: The revised schedule will also be effective from March 21, 2024, providing improved connectivity on these days.
This adjustment aims to offer passengers a more flexible travel schedule, ensuring they can plan their journeys with greater convenience.

From New Delhi: Starting March 21, 2024, the Vande Bharat Express to Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra will now operate on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, with an exception on Wednesdays.
From Katra: The revised schedule, also effective from March 21, 2024, ensures improved access to and from Katra on the specified days.
Passengers and stakeholders are encouraged to make a note of these positive changes and plan their travel accordingly. These adjustments have been introduced to optimize operational efficiency on these key routes, promising a smoother and more convenient travel experience for all.
Route Extension: Lucknow-Gorakhpur Vande Bharat Express Extended up to Prayagraj
Good news for rail passengers! The Indian Railways has extended the services of Uttar Pradesh’s second Vande Bharat Express, which presently runs between Lucknow and Gorakhpur Junction railway station. This extension, approved by the Railway Board, marks the country’s 25th new age train, operated and maintained by the North Eastern Railway (NER) zone.
The Train no. 22549 / 22550 Lucknow-Gorakhpur Junction-Lucknow Vande Bharat Express now includes Prayagraj Junction in its route, covering a distance of 355 km in seven hours and 25 minutes. This extension aims to boost tourism and economic growth in the region, allowing passengers to visit pilgrimage and historical places such as Gorakhnath Math, Veer Bahadur Singh Planetarium, and Ramgarh Taal in Gorakhpur.
