The NPG meeting, chaired by Special Secretary (Logistics) Sumita Dawra from the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), discussed proposed greenfield projects from the Ministry of Railways and the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways. These projects, with a combined cost of approximately Rs 9,600 crore, were scrutinized to ensure alignment with the overarching goals of the PM Gati Shakti initiative.
