Manufacture, Rollout & Trial
The Integral Coach Factory (ICF) in Chennai brought this train to life at a cost of Rs 65 crore. It includes electric locomotives on both ends, ensuring efficient operations.
The first Vande Sadharan Express has arrived in Mumbai and will undergo trials at the Wadibunder railway yard in Mazgaon. It will also operate in the challenging terrain of the Igatpuri mountains on the Thal Ghat section of the Mumbai-Nashik line.
